At Glance

No Name School is the public-facing initiative of Dzongsar Zhonui Tewa Incorporated, a registered charitable not-for-profit organisation in Australia. Established to support Bhutanese families living in Australia, the organisation is dedicated to nurturing Buddhist-inspired values and preserving Himalayan cultural heritage in a contemporary, community-centred way.
With Perth now home to a large and growing Bhutanese community, many children born or raised in Australia risk losing meaningful connection to their spiritual, cultural, and ethical roots. Inspired by the vision of His Eminence Kyabje Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, No Name School offers a holistic programme that gently integrates Buddhist wisdom with creative, age-appropriate, and innovative activities. These sessions encourage mindfulness, compassion, intergenerational connection, and active community participation.
Supported by the Khyentse Foundation, the initiative provides meditation, cultural learning, values-based activities, and community gatherings for families and individuals who share the vision and mission of No Name School. The programme aims to create a welcoming space where families can learn together, strengthen bonds, and transform isolation into shared purpose and contribution.
Beyond cultural preservation, No Name School promotes environmental awareness, compassion, and interdependence, principles aligned with Buddhist philosophy and Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness values. As a community-driven initiative, Dzongsar Zhonui Tewa Incorporated, trading as No Name School, strives to bridge generational gaps, nurture dignity and belonging, and build a sustainable future for Bhutanese cultural and Buddhist-inspired values in Australia.
